EPGL CELEBRATES EXPANSION

Following the success of its first retirement village at Boughton Hall in Chester, developed in conjunction with Barnardo Developments Limited, Enterprise Property Group Limited ("EPGL") launched a new retirement division, under the banner of Enterprise Retirement Living Limited ("ERL"), to not only build, but also run its own retirement villages. The next such project, The Red House in Ripon is just getting underway, and there are at least two more similar schemes in the pipeline.

As a result of this new venture, EPGL found itself in need of more staff and more space. Already occupying the ground and first floors of one half of a converted barn office complex in Whittlesford, the opportunity arose to take the first floor of the other side of the building. After a re-fit of the additional office space, EPGL's Reception and Sales & Marketing Department, and the initial ERL team, moved into their new home in September last year. A reconfiguration and redecoration of the original offices then took place, resulting in a new departmentally organised head office for EPGL and ERL with the capacity to accommodate further growth for both companies, which is inevitable in the future.

To mark this momentous occasion in the group's history and, indeed, what is a significant step into its future, EPGL hosted a celebration in the larger offices on Thursday, 2 February. Visitors were able to view the revamped offices and a pictorial display of the group's past, current and future developments whilst enjoying wine, canapés and good conversation.

EPGL's management and staff were delighted, and flattered, to be joined by over 80 guests from all areas of the property and construction industry, and would like to thank everyone who came for their support and for the many kind and positive comments received.
